Triton Golf: Trojans Move To 4-0
WARSAW — Triton’s boys golf team topped both John Glenn and Mishawaka at Stonehenge Wednesday night to move to 4-0 in nine-hole play.
The Trojans shot 161 ahead of Glenn’s 190, and Mishawaka turned in a 219 to finish at the bottom of the three-way pile.
Beau Hepler fired a 3-over 39, and Chase Butler shot a 39 to lead the Trojans. Isaac Wall turned in a 40, and Brock Watkins’ 44 completed the home team’s score. Keegan Westafer carded 46 for the toss-out.
Caleb Johnson shot 41 to lead Glenn, while Cole Sarber shot 44 as the only two Glenn golfers to crack 50.
Jacob Roeder’s 39 paced Mishawaka.
Triton’s JV also won its three-way with a 184 to Glenn’s 234 and Mishawaka’s 262.
Ross Johnson and John Gardner both shot 45 to lead the JV Trojans, and Brendan Wareham was close behind with a 46. John Kuntz shot 48, and Kaden Atkins turned in a 52 for Triton’s JV, which also moved to 4-0.
