AT&T Brings Faster Network To Pierceton Customers
PIERCETON — AT&T has upgraded a cell tower on its 4G LTE network in Pierceton to give customers faster, more reliable wireless service.
Our investment will help customers get the most out of their mobile devices. With 4G LTE service, customers will experience better network connectivity while streaming videos, sharing on social media or texting family and friends.
“There’s no doubt this investment by AT&T will have a positive impact on our business attraction and retention efforts,” said Kosciusko Economic Development Corporation president George Robertson. “Our innovators and job creators will benefit from quicker service and be better able to connect to their customers here and around the globe.”
“We want our customers to have a great experience,” said Bill Soards, prsident of AT&T Indiana. “They’ll be able to download, upload, stream and play games faster than ever before on our 4G LTE network— which is the nation’s largest and most reliable. We’re always working to provide better coverage. And we’re investing in our wireless network to accomplish that.”
Last year we also made enhancements to our wireless network in other Kosciusko County areas including adding capacity to cell sites in Etna Green, Leesburg, Milford, South Park, Syracuse and Warsaw. This is like adding more lanes to a highway, resulting in less network congestion and more reliable service.
We know how important it is for our customers to stay connected. This helps Indiana residents get the best possible experience over the AT&T network wherever they live, work and play.
By building out our 4G LTE network, we’re laying the foundation for our evolution to 5G. We’re boosting network speeds and capacity as we continue to expand the availability and capacity of our network using the latest technology.
AT&T has invested nearly $1.7 billion in its wireless and wireline networks in Indiana between 2014 through 2016. This drives upgrades to reliability, coverage, speed and performance for residents and business customers.
