Lenora M. Norris, 91, rural Larwill, died at 10:25 a.m. Tuesday, April 10, 2018, at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne.

She was born Feb. 7, 1927, in North Manchester, a daughter of the late William Bruce and Hazel Marie (Glaze) Lambert. Her formative years were spent in North Manchester. She graduated from North Manchester High School in 1945.

On March 23, 1948, she was united in marriage to Bruce G. Norris. They have always made their home on a farm near Larwill. Mr. Norris died Jan. 13, 1999.

She was a full-time homemaker raising their three children. In her senior years, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were her priority. She loved spending time with them. She also liked to embroider and do crossword puzzles.

She is survived by two sons: David Norris and Jerry L. (Cindy) Norris, Larwill; her grandchildren, Todd (Tracey) Smallwood, Kokomo; Kristi (Joe) Schieman, Kokomo; and Holli (Rob) Parker, Connecticut; great grandchildren: Zachary Smallwood, Connor and Cole Schieman, Brinley, Nash, and Hunter Parker; a step-grandchild, Dylan Lapetina; and a brother, Wayne (Phyllis) Lambert.

She was preceded in death by 19 siblings and a daughter, Rebecca Boring.

The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 17, at Smith & Sons Funeral Home, Columbia City. Burial will be in the Lakeview Cemetery at Larwill. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Preferred memorials are to Oak Grove United Methodist Church.
