Adult Welding Classes Offered By Pathways
SYRACUSE — Adult welding classes offered by the Pathways cooperative will begin Monday, March 26.
Classes will run 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, March 26 to April 20 with no classes held the week of spring break, April 2-6. Location is the welding technology center at 307 W. Chicago St., Syracuse, east of the Wawasee High School campus.
Jeremiah Paseka, American Welding Society certified welding instructor and AWS certified welding educator, will be the teacher. He will cover safety and shop equipment training, terms and equipment, welding symbols, various welding positions on fillet and groove welds and more.
This is an entry level, 30-hour class. Cost is $642 and includes a Lincoln Electric welding kit with mig/stick welding gloves, welding jacket, safety glasses, one welding helmet, grinding shield, various welding tools and duffle bag.
