Kosciusko Board Of REALTORS 2018 Scholarship Program Is Underway
KOSCIUSKO — The Kosciusko Board of REALTORS will extend its rich history of community involvement by awarding three Kosciusko County students each a $1,000 college scholarship in 2018.
KBOR has awarded $72,000 in scholarships since 1993 to foster and invest in tomorrow’s Kosciusko County leaders. This scholarship is specifically designed to assist bright and motivated students as they strive to achieve all of their educational goals.
The 2017 winners used their scholarships to pursue degrees in nursing, history and pre-med from colleges all over the state; Manchester, Grace College and Indiana University.
2017 was also the first year KBOR presented the “Spirit of the Heart” Award. This award goes to one of the scholarship winners that, in addition to scholastic achievement, goes out of their way in serving their community.
The award honors REALTOR professionals who have been lost that touched their community throughout their lives.
Any high school student or student currently enrolled in college from Kosciusko County is eligible to apply. Submission deadline is Friday, April 27.
The 2018 winners will be announced on Monday, May 7.
