Vocal Motion Presenting Competition Show
SYRACUSE — Wawasee High School Vocal Motion will present its 2018 competition show to the public at 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 23, in the high school auditorium. The theme of this year’s show is “New York City.”
The show is free to the public. Donations will be accepted after the show to defray the group’s competition costs.
Vocal Motion is in its third year of competition. Last year the group won People’s Choice Award at both the Homestead and Norwell competitions. The group also garnered Best Stage Crew Award and first runner-up at Norwell.
This year the group will compete Feb. 24 at Huntington, March 3 at Churubusco and March 10 at Norwell.
Vocal Motion consists of 15 singers, 10 instrumentalists and five stage crew members. Dance captain is Payton Vandiver. Director is Connie Meadows and Damon Brown is choreographer.
