WARSAW — A local business recently received new equipment designed to save energy and received a hefty bonus check in the process.
Zolman Farms and Tranzstar Transportation Warehouse and Tank Wash were approved for a custom project through Nipsco that installed a process boiler that will provide a savings of 47,424 therms annually, according to a press release from NIPSCO. The process boiler is used to wash the inside of semi tanker trailers that are used for food grade and kosher products. The installation of the boiler at the Warsaw facility also came with an incentive check of $37,939 to help cover the cost of the higher efficiency system.
