Warsaw Keglers Roll Way To Fourth Place At State Finals
ANDERSON – The Warsaw boys bowling team concluded an outstanding season by placing fourth in the State Finals Saturday.
The squad lost in the first match of the step ladder finals to Ben Davis to finish fourth among 12 teams competing at Championship Lanes in Anderson. Ben Davis went on to claim the state championship.
Warsaw made history as the first boys team to qualify for the State Finals. The team earned its berth with a fourth place finish at the semistate after placing second at both the regional and sectional rounds of tournament competition.
The State finalist team consisted of Ryan Seibold, Tim Robbins, Aric Krallman, Hunter Jackson, Dallas Anders, Jason Veach, Trevor Stichter, Jacob Simpson and Trenton Seibold.
The Warsaw team was coached by Kirk Wyman, Glen Ransbottom, Chris Anders and Kenny Simpson.
