Sheriff’s Department Hosts First Church Safety And Security Training
KOSCIUSKO — Sheriff William Rocky Goshert and members of the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department conducted the first Church Safety and Security training earlier this week.
The Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department in partnership with many local churches started this program to increase awareness and provide a safe place of worship for citizens in Kosciusko County. The initial training was completed at WCC in Warsaw, with 14 students from three local churches attending the training. The Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department with the Indiana Sheriff’s Association was able to provide the training curriculum that was presented during the training.
The Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department would welcome any other requests from churches to provide this type of training in the future.
