Warsaw Basketball: Frosh Stay Perfect In NLC
WARSAW – Bishop Walters was dialed in from distance Thursday night.
Walters drained five treys in pacing the Warsaw freshman boys basketball team to a 50-30 home win over NorthWood.
Walters tallied 19 points as the frosh Tigers improved to 14-2 overall and moved to 6-0 in Northern Lakes Conference play with the league win.
Luke Adamiec scored nine points for Warsaw, which has won 13 games in a row. The duo of Brock Poe and Mason Martz each had seven points and Caleb Sands, Landon Stanger, Drew McCleary and Tyreese Phillips each added two points.
Caleb Schwartz led NorthWood with 12 points. Jon Cripe scored nine points for the Panthers.
Warsaw will host Elkhart Memorial Monday at 6 p.m. in its final regular-season and NLC contest.
