Mentone Youth League Ready For Big 2018
MENTONE – The announcement of a pair of grants is kickstarting what Mentone Youth League hopes will be a great 2018 season.
The K21 Health Foundation awarded a grant for $24,815 and the Kosciusko County Community Foundation also contributed $7,500 for a total of $32,315 for Mentone Youth League to improve its ball diamonds and the surrounding park. League president Chris Pettit and his board are ready to get to work, and that starts with the announcement of its signup dates and fees for registration for the 2018 season.
Registration at the Bell Memorial Library in Mentone will take place on Saturday, Feb. 3, and Saturday, Feb. 10, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and also on Monday, Feb. 12, from 3-7 p.m.
Cost for a T-Ball player is $35, $45 for all other players. A family max is $110. The fundraiser buy-out is $25 per player and $40 max.
