Warsaw Man Charged With Battery In The Presence Of A Minor
WARSAW — A Warsaw man has been preliminarily charged with battery in the presence of a minor after reportedly pushing and hitting a woman.
Chad Preston Hall, 30, 419 S. Indiana St., Apt. C, Warsaw, is facing charges of domestic battery with a child under 16 present, a level 6 felony, and domestic battery, a class A misdemeanor.
According to the affidavit of probable cause filed Jan.12, officers with Warsaw Police Department responded to a domestic complaint at Hall’s address on Jan. 7.
The affidavit states that officers spoke with the victim who advised Hall had become angry and grabbed her by the neck, pushing her head into a door. She also stated that Hall hit her. A minor was present during the incident.
Hall advised that the female had been angry with him for not keeping the house clean. Hall further advised that during the confrontation he did force his way out of the house.
Hall was booked into the Kosciusko County Jail Jan. 7 with a $6,000 surety and cash bond.
