START OFF THE NEW YEAR WITH A NEW SKILL
The library has solutions for your resolutions. If you set a goal for the upcoming year, we have what you need to make it a reality.
Become fluent in another language like Spanish, German, French or Italian with help from foreign language resources. Learn the basics of a new language with the level one access to the Rosetta Stone. Access to the Rosetta Stone is free to any Indiana resident.
Land a new job with nonfiction books on resumes, interviewing and career paths. Apply to college and scholarships with the help of our scholarship handbooks detailing undergraduate loans and grants, and study guides for the SAT and ACT.
If you are planning to have a healthy lifestyle through 2018, try our exercise videos, Zumba workout kit and cookbooks. Workout videos like Elle Glam Fitness: Complete Cardio Workout can be found in the DVD section under 613. You can also ask for the Zumba fitness kit, complete with several workout DVDs and toning sticks, which is located behind the adult circulation desk. For healthy meals, try new cookbooks, Quick and Easy Ketogenic Cooking or The Skinnytaste Cookbook, which are located in the new nonfiction section under 641.
KNITTING CLUB
Knitting Club is meeting on a new day. The club now meets from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Thursday. The Knitting Club meets next at 1:30 p.m. Jan. 18 at the tables located in the Teen Area. Members of the club are happy to teach individuals how to knit and crochet.

Members of the public are welcome to attend the next board meeting on Jan. 15. The board members and Director Julie Frew will discuss financial matters and any ongoing business.
