SYRACUSE – School was out of session, but the basketball court was in use Monday at Wawasee.

Ethan Carey netted 15 points to lead the Wawasee freshman boys basketball team to a 40-25 win over Northern Lakes Conference foe Northridge.

Kameron Salazar added nine points, Adam Beer seven points, and Justin Castro six points for the Warriors in victory.

Wawasee, which came into the game fresh off a tournament title Saturday at Manchester, moves to 10-2 overall. The Warriors will next look to Saturday in hosting Jimtown.
