KENDALLVILLE – After an extended break, the Wawasee freshman boys basketball returned to action with a win Thursday night.

Ethan Carey and Kameron Salazar both scored 13 points as Wawasee defeated host East Noble 40-28.

Justin Castro added seven points and Niles Hodges finished with five points for the Warriors, which hadn’t played since Dec. 18.

Wawasee moves to 7-2 on the season and will take its chances again Saturday at the Manchester Tournament.
