Wind Chill Advisory Extended Through Wednesday
KOSCIUSKO COUNTY — The National Weather Service has announced yet another wind chill advisory for the Kosciusko area, this one in effect until 9 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 3.
Expect wind chills to range from 10 below zero to 20 below zero. Frostbite and hypothermia can occur if precautions are not taken, with NWS cautioning that the cold wind chills will cause frostbite in as little as 30 minutes to exposed skin. It is advised that anyone who will be outside should wear a hat and gloves.
