William Lee Kruger
William Lee “Bill” Kruger, 82, North Webster, passed away at 11:24 p.m., Friday, Dec. 29, 2017, at Miller’s Merry Manor in Columbia City. He was born on April 23, 1935, in Pierceton to Charles Alton and Margaret Marie (Burns) Kruger.
He was a lifetime North Webster area resident and attended North Webster High School. He was formerly employed at Forest River in Goshen, Sea Nymph in Syracuse, Commodore Homes in Syracuse, United Telephone, and drove truck for Kruger Truck Lines.
He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion Post 253 in North Webster.
He is survived by two daughters: Debra (Harvey) Hall, North Webster; Sandra (Mark) Mignery, Cromwell; two sons: Charles “Chuck” Kruger, Syracuse; William Kenneth “Ken” Kruger, North Webster; six grandchildren and ten great grandchildren; two brothers: Joseph Alton “Joe” (Sue” Kruger, Warsaw; Thomas Mitchell “Tom” (Alice) Kruger, North Webster; companion: Neva Sexton, North Webster.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be from 1-3 p.m. and 5-7 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 3, at Owen Family Funeral Home, St. Rd. 13 & C.R. 500N, North Webster. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. on Wednesday in the funeral home with Pastor Bob Winsted of the West Etna Community Church in Larwill officiating. Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. St. Rd 15, Warsaw. Private burial will take place in the Mock Addition of the North Webster Cemetery.
Preferred memorials may be given to the Kosciusko Home Care & Hospice, P.O. Box 1996, Warsaw, IN 46581. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
