WARSAW – The city of Warsaw’s Public Works Department disposes of live Christmas trees in an eco-friendly way following the Christmas holiday. Rather than sending this biodegradable material to a landfill, trees are ground up with other brush, and that ground product is given away or used within the city.

Residents should place their trees on the curb with their trash on their scheduled trash pick-up day. Trees will be picked up by another truck sometime that day. Tree pick-up will continue until all trees are picked up.
