Milford Man Arrested For Having Sex With Pony
With 56,403 page views, this story comes in as our most read of the year. A Milford man was arrested after having sexual intercourse with a female pony on several occasions. Phillip Butler was booked into the Kosciusko County Jail on May 22. He is currently out on bond and has a status conference set for 11:30 a.m. Jan. 3, 2018.

With 51,056 page views, this breaking story was our second most read. The three-vehicle accident occurred on June 19 and led to the death of Ashley Demont, 17, Argos, and Kirsten Ganshorn, 17, Walkerton.
Babysitter Facing Charges Of Neglect After Two Children Bitten By Another Child
With 47,132 page views, this story was our third most read of the year. Babysitter Theresa Bumblis is facing neglect of a dependent charges after two children suffered multiple bites while under her care. A status conference is scheduled for 11 a.m. Feb. 28, 2018 .
Two Inmates Charged With Rape That Occurred Within Kosciusko County Jail
With 43,809 page views, this story was our fourth most read of the year. Four inmates had additional felony charges added in reference to a rape that occurred while incarcerated in the Kosciusko County Jail. Those charged include Timothy Freeman, Warsaw; Christopher Orr, Warsaw; Tyler Martin, Albion; and Danny Combs, Warsaw.
Early Morning Fire Devastates Animal Rescue

The home was completely engulfed when it was called in after someone nearby witnessed flames.
With 40,505 page views, this was our fifth most read article. Isaiah 11 Counseling Center and Animal Refuge suffered a devastating fire that destroyed a home, garage and a barn. The organization is still operating and has spent the last several months trying to rebuild.
Update — Second Teen Dies As Result Of US 30 Crash

With 40,505 page views, this was our sixth most read article. As an update to the June double fatality accident on US 30, this story released the name of the second victim, Ashley Demont, 17, Argos. Kirsten Ganshorn, 17, Walkerton was first pronounced dead in another update.
Warsaw Woman Attacked In Her Vehicle At Local CVS
This press release received 40,275 page views. Daniel Davis was arrested after he his inside an unlocked car and attacked the female driver. The victim was able to escape and notify police, who quickly apprehended Davis. Davis remains in custody at the Kosciusko County Jail and has a court hearing set for hearing 8:30 a.m. Jan. 22, 2018.
Leesburg Man Arrested For Incest Relationship With His Daughter
With 37,397 page views, this article was our eighth most read of the year. Jack Slater, was arrested after having sexual relations with his daughter on several occasions. Slater remains in custody of the Kosciusko County Jail and has his sentencing scheduled for 9:30 a.m. Jan. 4, 2018.
Update — Warsaw Driver Dies In SR 15 School Bus Accident
This press release received 32,546 page views. The name of the driver who died during the school bus, car accident on SR 15 earlier this month was released. Michael S. Goble, 25, Warsaw, was pronounced dead at Lutheran Hospital Fort Wayne from injuries sustained in this crash.
Four Arrested After Warsaw Narcotics Investigation
This press release rounds out our top ten most read articles with 32,108 pageviews. Four individuals were arrested on July 19, after Warsaw Narcotics officers learned of drug activity coming from South Bend to the Warsaw area. David Everly, 53, Warsaw; Denzell Parahams, 21, South Bend; Amanda Perkins, 28, Warsaw; and Ethan Perkins, 28, Warsaw, all face multiple drug charges.
