Myron Lee Miller
Myron Lee Miller, 80, North Manchester, died at 2 a.m., Dec. 23, 2017, at his residence.
He was born Sept. 19, 1937, to Glen A. and Ruth A (Deaton) Miller in Wabash County. Miller was employed with Oppenheim’s Department Store for 40 years from 1957-1997 and with The Hardware Store from 1997-2017.
On June 28, 1971 he married Jean Juillerat, she survives.
Also surviving are two sons: Darryl (Jeanette) Neher, Bloomington; and Greg (Faith) Miller, North Manchester; one brother: Kenneth Miller, Fort Wayne; and one sister, Coleen (Jim) Hayes, Collamer; four grandchildren: Erika Heidewald, Los Angeles, Calif.; Derek Heidewald, Austin, Texas; and Grace and Bonnie Jean Miller of North Manchester.
He was a member of Congregational Christian Church, North Manchester. Miller was a loyal and dedicated husband, dad and grandpa. Miller was a lifelong die hard Cubs fan. He was also very active in many bowling leagues as well as active in fast pitch softball until he began coaching his own sons in little league.
Family and friends may call from 4-8 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 27, at the McKee Mortuary, 1401 State Road 114 West, North Manchester, IN. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, Dec. 28, at the funeral home. Pastors J.P. Freeman and Kurt Stout will officiate. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery, North Manchester.
