Malakai Michael Garrett — UPDATED
Malakai Michael Garrett, 2, passed away at 6:15 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 29, 2017, in Parkview North Hospital in Fort Wayne.
He was born Feb. 6, 2015, in Fort Wayne to Lantz Garrett and Amber (Unverzagt) Garrett.
Malakai was such a very energetic little boy and full of life who loved to play with his trucks and cars. He also loved riding his power wheels with his sister Kaydence, as the two were inseparable. He enjoyed listening to music and dancing around. His little laughs and loves were very contagious.
Surviving are his parents: Lantz Garrett, Warsaw and Amber Garrett, Fort Wayne. In addition, his sisters: Kaydence Hull, Fort Wayne; and Beretta Garrett, Warsaw; also surviving are his paternal grandparents: Chante (Jeremy) Harter and Jeremy (Carolyn) Garner, all of Warsaw; and maternal grandparents Dale (Jean) Unverzagt, Fort Wayne; along with great grandparents Margaret Easterly, Fort Wayne; Rose Boyd, Fort Wayne; Robert Boyd, Paulding, Ohio; and Jesus Salas, Antwerp, Ohio. He is also survived by 12 aunts and eight uncles.
