KOSCIUSKO — At the Dec. 7 meeting of the Cardinal Services’ Board of Directors, Senator Ryan Mishler was presented with a plaque by CEO, Randy Hall and Board Chair, Penny Brown. The award honors Mishler for his support of people with developmental disabilities and the people who serve them.  Mishler, who served last session as the ranking member on the Senate Appropriations Committee, was instrumental in passing legislation to help agencies like Cardinal receive funding to increase entry level staff wages.

Hall commented that Mishler’s leadership in the Statehouse is invaluable to Cardinal Services and people with disabilities throughout Indiana.  Mishler thanked the Board, adding that he is neighbors with one of the Cardinal group homes and has enjoyed visiting there and the main building many times. “Cardinal Services plays a crucial role in the lives of the people and families they serve, and in our community.”
