Governor Appoints Kubacki To State Board
INDIANAPOLIS—Rebecca Kubacki, Syracuse, was among four people appointed to various state boards and commissions Monday by Governor Eric J. Holcomb.
Kubacki, former member of the Indiana House of Representatives, was appointed to join the Distressed Unit Appeals Board. She will serve at the pleasure of the governor.
This board holds hearings on petitions from both distressed political subdivisions and school corporations in need of relief before issuing a ruling.
Kubacki represented the 22nd District in the House of Representatives from 2010-2014. While in office she was chair of the Family, Children and Human Affairs committee and was on Indiana House committees for Courts and Criminal Code, Employment, Labor and Pensions, Statutory Committee on Interstate and International Cooperation, Commerce, Small Business and Economic Development and Ways and Means.
Other persons were appointed to the Achieving Better Life Experience Board of the Authority and Judicial Nominating Commission.
