Thomas J. Heet, 73, Plymouth, passed away on Monday, Nov. 6, in the St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, Plymouth.
Thomas was born on Dec. 17, 1943, in Plymouth, to Henry Francis and Alvina W. (Schroeder) Heet. On Sept. 3, 1966, Thomas married the former Jayne Lehman in a beautiful ceremony in the St. Michael Catholic Church, where the Heets’ are faithful members. Thomas was employed for 30 years for UPS. He enjoyed all types of wood crafting especially Good times woodcarving and playing golf, but his greatest joy was time spent with his family.
Left to cherish Thomas’s memory are his wife of 51 years, Jayne Heet of Plymouth; his daughter, Angela and John Feldman of Germantown, Ill.; sons, Christopher Heet of Nappanee, Bryce and Tracey Heet of Greencastle, and Darin Heet of Plymouth; Thomas was blessed with seven grandchildren, Christopher John, Thomas, Lauren (Cesar) Jonah, Caleb, Chloe and Henry; also surviving are Thomas’s brothers, Robert Heet of South Bend, Joseph and Marcella Heet of Donaldson, Michael and Theresa Heet of Huntington, Lawrence and Alanna Heet of Plymouth and Anthony Heet of Plymouth; his sisters, Mary and Dennis Manuwal of Plymouth and Theresa and Charley Salach of Plymouth; Thomas is preceded in passing by his parents, and his brothers, Aloysius Heet and Francis Heet.
