Symphony To Hold Interest Meeting
WARSAW — An open meeting for all those interested in the progress and future of the Symphony of the Lakes will be held at the Wagon Wheel Center for the Arts at 2 p.m. Sunday Nov. 12. The meeting is free and open to all.
Sponsored by the symphony’s Encore Society, the 75-minute program is designed to inform and inspire anyone interested in classical music, specifically the future of the Symphony of the Lakes, which is now operating under the non-profit umbrella of the Wagon Wheel Center for the Arts.
Light refreshments will be served. The program will include several short musical performances by symphony players and an illustrated explanation of the symphony’s current status and future plans from the orchestra’s musical director Maestro Tom Stirling. Those in attendance will be given opportunity for input as to programming and future development of the arts here in the northern lakes community.
In addition to refreshments and discussion, the meeting will also include drawings for several valuable prizes, including season tickets to Wagon Wheel events. All are welcome. Those planning to attend are encouraged to RSVP by phone to (574) 267-8041 or by e-mail to the symphony’s current chairman Terry White at [email protected].
