Cosgrove Is Third Person To File For Commissioner Seat
WARSAW — Teresa Cosgrove, Warsaw, is the third person to file their candidacy for the Kosciusko County Commissioner-Middle District seat. She filed with Kosciusko County Republican Central Committee Chairman Mike Ragan Tuesday, Oct. 24.
The caucus of all Republican precinct committeemen in the county will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 8, in the old circuit court room in the Kosciusko County Courthouse. Other candidates include Sheal Dirck and Cary Groninger.
Cosgrove, a native of Warsaw, is a NorthWood High School graduate. She served in the U.S. Army from 1977-1984 and with the Indiana National Guard from 2004 to 2015, serving in Afghanistan from October 2015 to September 2016. She is a member of the American Legion and American Legion Auxiliary in Nappanee, and attends a local church. She is the mother of two daughters and has four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Her interest in politics began in the early days of the Tea Party, which created her awareness to politics and the importance of having good people in government. “I’ve been in the military and traveling for many years,” she said noting now that she has returned home she has decided to “participate and find other ways to serve her county and community.”
