WARSAW — Tranzstar Transportation & Warehousing celebrated the opening of its new kosher certified tank wash at its facility at 1406 W. Winona Avenue, Warsaw, with a ribbon cutting on Oct. 23.
President Aubrey Rife spoke to present Kosciusko Chamber members and Lake City Bank representatives before the ribbon cutting, saying that one year ago the idea of a kosher tank wash was just a “crazy idea.”
Now, the company has certification for kosher upgrade and maintenance washes through the Orthodox Union, offering cleaning and kosherization options to local food grade and non-hazmat haulers.
Rife thanked Tranzstar’s partners Louis Dreyfus Company and Lake City Bank for their help in making Tranzstar’s expansion a reality.
