WACF Trails Explored At Third Annual Falltastic Trail Walk

SYRACUSE — More than three miles of trails were available for exploring during the third annual Wawasee Area Conservancy Foundation Falltastic Trail Walk Saturday, Oct. 21, on the WACF property south of Syracuse just off SR 13.
Two new events were added this year including geocaching and a Dog Boo contest where participants were encouraged to dress up their dogs to compete in a costume contest.
With the temperature in the low 70s, it proved to be a very comfortable fall day for walking and exploring the three trails on the WACF property, which were decorated for the fall season. Refreshments were served too.
The Falltastic Trail Walk will also be held from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 22.
