Upcoming Improv Comedy Show At The Ballroom Gallery
WARSAW — An improv comedy show will be performed at The Ballroom Gallery in downtown Warsaw at 9 p.m. Friday, Oct. 20. The event will feature the newly formed Center Street Community Theatre improv team based in Warsaw.
Improv is a form of comedic theater in which participants perform unscripted scenes, such as in the hit show “Whose Line is it Anyway?” The Center Street Community Theatre improv troupe is composed of seven local residents interested in bringing improv comedy to the Warsaw area. Members include Clint Buelcher, Ben Friedberg, Joe Harmon, Madisson Heinl, Trevor Jaynes, Joseph Nishimoto and Nick Salas.
The Ballroom Gallery opened in May as a place for local artists to share their work. A team of seven local residents continue to work to make The Ballroom Gallery a space which can be utilized in the future to inspire and motivate community artists. Admission from the comedy night will go toward The Ballroom Gallery’s renovation costs.
Concessions will be available. Admission is $3. The Ballroom Gallery is not wheelchair accessible and requires climbing stairs.
The Ballroom Gallery is located at 122 S. Buffalo St., Warsaw. For more information or to get involved, contact Joe Harmon at [email protected].
