Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accidents:

8:47 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 3, West Old Road 30, east of North CR 520W, Warsaw. Driver: Carter M. Cottrill, 15, Rose Lane, Bourbon. Hit deer. Damage up to $10,000.

5:38 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 3, West CR 1350N, Nappanee. Driver: Charles A. Baer, 65, Pine Drive, Middlebury. The trailer being pulled by Baer’s vehicle struck a parked vehicle registered to Arthur J. DeLeon, West CR 400N, Rensselaer. Damage up to $2,500.

3:49 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 3, North SR 15, south of West CR 600N, Leesburg. Drivers: Matthew H. Scrogham, 24, CR 21, Milford, and Alex E. Ruckman, 16, East SR 14, Rochester. Scrogham’s vehicle struck the back of Ruckman’s vehicle. Damage up to $25,000.

8:53 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 3, North SR 15, south of West CR 400N, Warsaw. Drivers: Shelby A. Shepherd, 43, EMS D24B Lane, Syracuse, and Danny R. Wright, 63, South East Street, Milford. Shepherd suffered minor bleeding to the face but refused medical treatment. The brakes on Shepherd’s vehicle failed, causing her vehicle to hit the back of Wright’s vehicle. Shepherd was cited for no valid operator’s license. Damage up to $5,000.

4:44 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 3, West US 30, west of North CR 200W, Warsaw. Driver: Jacob R. Overmyer, 32, West South Street, Argos. Hit deer. Damage up to $10,000.

Warsaw

Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:

5:46 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 4, Plaza Drive, Warsaw. Drivers: Danuel P. Hatfield,47, South CR 1600E, Silver Lake, and Randall S. Hughes, 27, West CR 100S, Etna Green. Hatfield was backing his vehicle from a parking space and struck the passing Hughes’ vehicle. Damage up to $2,500.

1:43 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 3, South Lake Street, south of West Market Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Michelle D. Young, 48, South SR 25, Warsaw, and Christopher Batta, 25, Michaels Street, Warsaw. The vehicles collided at the intersection. Damage up to $10,000.
