Officers with Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accidents:
8:53 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 24, West CR 200S, Warsaw. Driver: Valerie E. Lukens, 32, South SR 19, Mentone. Lukens struck a deer. Damage up to $2,500.
8:04 a.m. Monday, Sept. 25, West SR 25 and South CR 900W, Mentone. Drivers: Crystal Rodriguez, 31, East CR 100N, Akron, and Chad D. Brouyette, 46, West CR 800S, Claypool. Rodriguez rear-ended Brouyette’s vehicle. Damage up to $25,000.
1:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 25, East Armstrong Road and North CR 300E, Leesburg. Drivers: Richard E. Welborn, 83, East CR 1000N, Syracuse, Max R. Wray, 59, West CR 100N, Warsaw, and Phillip M. Armie, 49, Hoffman Lake Road, Warsaw. Welborn made a left turn in front of Wray, causing a collision. The impact forced Welborn’s vehicle to strike Armie’s vehicle. Damage up to $25,000.
Winona Lake
Officers with Winona Lake Police Department investigated the following accident:
12:11 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 24, East Winona Avenue, east of Lakeview Drive, Winona Lake. Drivers: Herbert C. Gensch, 55, South SR 15, Warsaw, and Mitchell B. Hussong, 22, Lakeview Drive, Winona Lake. Gensch rear-ended Hussong’s vehicle. Damage up to $5,000.
North Webster
Officers with North Webster Police Department investigated the following accident:
8:05 a.m. Monday, Sept. 25, South Main Street, North Webster. Drivers: Chris Paraschos, 87, Riverside Drive, Tarpon Springs, Fla., and Cindy L. Spencer, 64, East CR 1700N, Summitville. Paraschos was at an automatic car wash. He advised he did not realize his car was in reverse and thought he had it in neutral. Paraschos hit the gas and backed into the front of Spencer’s vehicle. Spencer had been stopped and waiting to wash her car. Damage up to $2,500.
