Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accidents:
12:51 a.m. Friday, Sept. 22, North SR 15, south of West CR 800N, Leesburg. Driver: Tiffany R. Dove, 29, East CR 1150N, Milford. Dove was unable to avoid hitting a horse in the roadway. Owner of the horse is unknown. Damage up to $25,000.
1:39 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 21, North CR 650E, south of East CR 800N, North Webster. Driver: Nelson P. Blocher, 24, EMS T4 Lane, North Webster. Hit deer. Damage up to $2,500.
7:02 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 20, East Armstrong Road, west of North CR 300E, Leesburg. Driver: Roo P. Ma Be, 23, Carterton Drive, Fort Wayne. Injured: Sa Yet, 22, Castle Drive, Fort Wayne, a passenger, suffered a broken right femur, taken to Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne. Be’s vehicle went off the right side of the roadway and hit a utility pole. Damage up to $10,000.
8 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 19, South SR 13, north of South CR 525E, Pierceton. Driver: Lon W. Hatfield, Hit deer. Damage up to $2,500.
Warsaw
Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accident:
2:22 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 19, East Winona Avenue and South Scott Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Ciera C. Bolden, 21, North Grant Street, Warsaw, and Julia A. Schue, 85, Sally Street, Warsaw. Bolden’s vehicle sideswiped the Schue vehicle. Damage up to $5,000.
Winona Lake
Officers with the Winona Lake Police Department investigated the following accidents:
3:32 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 21, Kings Highway and Seminary Drive, Winona Lake. Drivers: Joey J. Gibson, 19, CR 29, Syracuse, and Gloria J. Paseka, 67, South CR 900W, Etna Green. Gibson attempted to turn in front of the Paseka vehicle, failing to yield the right of way. Damage up to $2,500.
1:59 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 20, Seminar Drive, Winona Lake. Driver: Estrella L. Rico, 16, West Winona Avenue, Warsaw. Rico was backing from a parking space and struck a parked vehicle registered to Kenneth C. Locke, St. Marys Drive, Warsaw. Damage up to $2,500.
