Area Police Reports
Kosciusko
Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following incidents:
- Midnight, Monday, Sept. 18, 5700 block East CR 1400N, Syracuse. Robert A. Carlson reported the theft of alcohol and a golf set. Value: $2,350.
- 10:28 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 17, 100 block North Pearl Street, Leesburg. Travis J. Dice reported the stereo systems from four vehicles were stolen. Value: $600.
- 7:34 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 17, 300 block East Levi Lee Road, Warsaw. Sara Elizabeth Elder reported the theft of three mini bikes. Value: $750.
- 6:57 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 17, 5900 block West CR 850S, Claypool. Police were notified of a runaway.
- 6:38 p.m. Friday, Sept. 15, 9400 block East CR 1000N, Syracuse. Zachary Wayne Spencer reported damage to his vehicle.
- 6:39 p.m. Friday, Sept. 15, 100 block EMS D1 Lane, Syracuse. Jose Luis Garza Jr., reported an English bulldog had been struck and killed. Value: $2,500.
- 10:35 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 14, 8300 block South SR 19, Akron. Police received a report of two students fighting in the Tippecanoe Valley High School dining area.
- 6 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 12, 100 block EMS D18A1 Lane, Syracuse. Timothy Allan Dilley reported a former girl friend broke into his home to get her belongings.
- 8:01 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 12, 1900 block East Armstrong Road and North CR 200E, Leesburg. Police investigated a minor car vs. moped incident, involving Jeremy Todd Frederick, 28, East CR 200N, Warsaw, and Barbara S. Fabyan, 63, EMS T6 Lane, Leesburg. There was minor damage to Frederick’s moped from falling over and no damage to Fabyan’s vehicle.
North Webster
Officers with the North Webster Police Department investigated the following incident:
- 2:29 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 17, 100 block South Main Street, North Webster. A bicycle was left at the back of the police department.
Syracuse
Officers with the Syracuse Police Department investigated the following incident:
- 10:26 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 13, 8300 block East CR 1250N, Syracuse. Police were notified of a runaway.
Warsaw
Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following incidents:
- 1:13 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 17, 200 block Rattington Circle, Warsaw. Dustin Thomas Rose reported the theft of medication from his vehicle.
- 10:12 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 14, 900 block Provident Drive, Warsaw. Sunshine Nicole Metz reported a hit and run accident.
- 6:14 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 13, 500 block East Market Street, Warsaw. Officials at Dollar General reported the theft of a candle and a bag of candy. Value: $11.
