Kosciusko
Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accidents:
7:04 a.m. Monday, Sept. 11, North SR 13, north of East Old Road 30, Pierceton. Driver: Christopher J. Hinton, 29, Raleigh Court, Columbia City. Hit deer. Damage up to $2,500.
2:53 a.m. Monday, Sept. 11, East Old Road 30, west of South Brallier Road, Pierceton. Driver: Rhonda Y. Rife, 57, South Brallier Road, Pierceton. Hit deer. Damage up to $2,500.
10:02 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 9, North CR 1000E and East Old Trail, Pierceton. Driver: Cameron J. Harris, 16, East Paige Road, Columbia City. Injured: Reece D. Spencer, 17, Shinneman Drive, Columbia City, suffered minor bleeding to his head. He was ejected from the vehicle and flown from the scene to Parkview Hospital, Fort Wayne. Harris failed to stop at the intersection, hitting a bank of trees, a mailbox and overturned. Damage up to $25,000.
12:13 p.m. Friday, Sept. 8, South SR 15, south of West CR 700S, Warsaw. Drivers: Trevor M. Simpson, 17, West CR 1300N, Silver Lake, and Sandra M. Williams, 44, West CR 900S, Silver Lake. Simpson complained of pain to his head and was transported to a hospital for medical treatment. Simpson drove his vehicle out in front of the Williams vehicle. Williams and a passenger exited the vehicle as it caught fire from the collision. Damage up to $25,000.
North Webster
Officers with the North Webster Police Department investigated the following accident:
5:13 p.m. Monday, Sept. 11, North Main Street, north of West Crystal Flash Road, North Webster. Drivers: Dorothy Ormanovich, 43, East CR 1150N, Milford, and Sydney L. Lancaster, 20, East CR 950S, South Whitley. Ormanovich’s vehicle sideswiped Lancaster’s vehicle when Ormanovich made a lane change. Damage up to $2,500.
Syracuse
Officers with the Syracuse Police Department investigated the following accident:
3:35 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 10, South Huntington Street, Syracuse. Driver: Seth E. Long, 26, North Main Street, Syracuse. Long backed from a parking space hitting a parked vehicle registered to Jeffrey W. Goff, East Baltimore Street, Syracuse. Damage up to $5,000.
Warsaw
Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:
9:41 p.m. Monday, Sept. 11, North Detroit Street, Warsaw. Dale A. DeGroff, South CR 150W, Warsaw, reported his vehicle was struck while parked at either the bowling alley, Lowe’s or Big R. Damage up to $2,500.
3:02 p.m. Monday, Sept. 11, Lake City Highway, Warsaw. Drivers: Jean B. Bradbury, 83, Anchorage Road, Warsaw, and Kaitlyn M. Keelin, 25, Chamberlin Drive, Warsaw. Bradbury failed to see the Keelin vehicle as she crossed the main entrance lane, hitting the Keelin vehicle. Damage up to $2,500.
3:01 p.m. Monday, Sept. 11, Tiger Lane, Warsaw. Police were notified of a vehicle, registered to Timothy W. Merchant, East Old Road 30, Warsaw, was struck while parked by the Warsaw High School Tennis courts. Damage was estimated up to $2,500.
12:55 p.m. Monday, Sept. 11, Commerce Drive, Warsaw. Drivers: John K. Coffey, 55, East Center Street, Warsaw, and William S. Pietrzak, 61, South Meadow Drive, Warsaw. Coffey’s vehicle struck the back of the Pietrzak’s vehicle. Damage up to $2,500.
12:34 p.m. Monday, Sept. 11, North CR 150W, Warsaw. Driver: Troy D. Skees, 47, East Raintree Road, Warsaw. Skees backed out of his garage into a parked vehicle registered to Brown Equipment Company, Fort Wayne. Damage up to $2,500.
9:34 a.m. Monday, Sept. 11, West Winona Avenue, Warsaw. Driver: Honorine G. Marandet, 58, West Briaridge Road, Warsaw. Marandet was backing into a parking space and struck a parked vehicle. Owner of the vehicle was not listed. Damage up to $2,500.
12:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 9, Husky Trail, Warsaw. Drivers: Philip J. Mussallem, 63, Sweet Blossom Court, Fort Wayne, and Rachel A. Kovar, 32, North CR 750W, Larwill. Mussallem was backing from a parking space and did not see Kovar backing from her parking space behind him. Damage up to $2,500.
