Whitko Soccer: Mississinewa Holds On
GAS CITY – Mississinewa scored a second-half goal to give itself some space in a 3-1 girls soccer win over visiting Whitko Saturday morning.
The Indians scored a pair of goals in the first half, then notched one more in the second half to secure the victory.
Julia Seifert netted Whitko’s lone goal in the second half on an assist from Abi Hartman.
Whitko keeper Stephanie Baughman was busy in net, making 14 saves.
Whitko drops to 1-6 overall and will visit Wawasee on Wednesday.
