Kosciusko
Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following incidents:
- 9:14 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 31, 5700 block East CR 1400N, Syracuse. Police were called regarding an active alarm at a business.
- 12:42 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 31, 100 block East Section Street, Claypool. Jacob Michael Cochran reported a stolen grill. Value: $200.
- 4:24 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 30, 1300 block Oriole Drive, Warsaw. Jacob Arthur Bergman reported the theft of a handgun and shotgun from his vehicle. Value: $900.
Warsaw
Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following incidents:
- 4:03 a.m. Friday, Sept. 1, 800 block Carrington Boulevard, Warsaw. Druid Paul Chaffins reported numerous items stolen from vehicles. Value: $301.
- 4:01 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 31, 300 block South Columbia Street, Warsaw. Police received a report of a dog bite.
- 3 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 31, 200 block South Bronson Street, Warsaw. Travis J. Dice reported a suspicious incident.
- 6 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 29, 2200 block East Center Street, Warsaw. Officials at Owens Supermarket reported a fraud.
Winona Lake
Officers with the Winona Lake Police Department investigated the following incidents:
- 5:41 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 31, 2100 block South Packerton Road, Warsaw. Police received a report of a damaged road sign and phone junction box.
- 9:54 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 30, 100 block Boys City Drive, Winona Lake. Police were called for a domestic battery.
