Kosciusko
Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accident:
2:36 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 13, East Eli Lilly Road, west of North Bishop Road, Syracuse. Drivers: Courtney B. Moore, 22, North CR 600W, Ligonier; and Jonathon M. Skordos, 29, Gerke Avenue, Fort Wayne. Skordos was loading wood on a vehicle with a forklift when the load fell off, sending the forklift backwards into the roadway and into the Moore vehicle. Damage up to $1,000.
Warsaw
Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:
2:46 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 17, SR 15, north of Herscher Drive, Warsaw. Drivers: Emiline Secaur, 56, East Main Street, Warsaw, and Usha N. Panicker, 49, North Old Orchard Drive, Warsaw. Injured: Secaur complained of pain to her arm, but refused medical treatment at the scene. Secaur’s vehicle struck the back of the stopped Panicker vehicle. Damage up to $10,000.
10:42 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 17, South Detroit Street and East Pope Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Jean F. Courtois, 48, South High Street, Warsaw, and Tony B. Slone, 46, East Clark Street, Warsaw. Courtois turned in front of the Slone vehicle causing the vehicles to strike each other. Slone was cited for operating a vehicle without a valid license. Damage up to $5,000.
7:30 a.m. Monday, Aug. 14, Glad Street, east of Flora Avenue, Warsaw. Driver: Gabriel Nunez, 46, Glad Street, Warsaw. Nunez backed his vehicle from his driveway hitting the passenger side of a parked vehicle registered to D.L. Peterson Trust, Ridgebrook Road, Sparks Glencoe, Md. Damage up to $2,500.
