Woman From Warsaw Is Keynote Speaker At University Ceremony

NORTH MANCHESTER — The Manchester University annual White Coat Ceremony for the pharmacy Class of 2021 is at 5 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 4, in Cordier Auditorium on the North Manchester campus. It will feature a woman who is originally from Warsaw.
Seating opens at 4:30 p.m. It is free and open to the public.
The ceremony is a rite of passage for students beginning their study of pharmacy in Manchester’s four-year doctoral program.
This year, the ceremony will feature a special keynote address from Dr. Andrea Whitaker, a graduate of Manchester’s 2016 inaugural pharmacy class. The Fort Wayne resident is an MU instructor of pharmacy practice and was recently hired into Manchester’s post-graduate residency program in Fort Wayne.
Whitaker, who is originally from Warsaw, graduated summa cum laude from the Pharmacy Program and was honored with the Dean’s Excellence Award.
