Indiana Football Digest Released For 2017
MISHAWAKA – The Indiana Football Digest released its 2017 issue on July 14 at the Grange Insurance North-South All-Star Football Classic at North Central High School in Indianapolis.
In addition to putting a bow on the 2016 campaign with recaps of all six state championship games, the 428-page publication has previews and photos for all of the Indiana high school and colleges playing football this coming fall.
“We have come a long way since the first book I published in 1992,” said IFD publisher Paul R. Condry, “When you compare 1992’s 72-page edition to this year 428-page edition, we have matured and grown up a lot.”
Along with breaking down the top teams and players to watch in 2017, there are plenty of special features to check out along with the unveiling of the Prime Time 25 players on the cover.
Among the many outstanding articles are pieces catching up with former Homestead and Western Michigan standout Zach Terrell and longtime official Bob Carnegy recapping his 44-year career.
The magazine also includes a human interest piece involving the West Washington and Indianapolis Washington football teams and another by Indiana head coach Tom Allen.
“I think our core group of writers captured the excitement of “Friday Night Lights” here in Indiana,” stated Condry. “I am grateful to the Indianapolis Colts and our many remarkable sponsors who support our football initiatives with the IFD and our Griddys’ Awards program. I am also very thankful to all of the Indiana high school football coaches who work so hard in promoting their programs, athletes and communities through the IFD.”
A copy of the IFD can be reserved for $15 plus shipping and handling at www.indianafootballdigest.com.
The publication will also be at select Barnes and Noble book stores and other select sponsors for $15. Check the website for locations.
