American Legion Post 253 Donates To KC Riley Kids Fund In Memory Of Mike Elwood
KOSCIUSKO — Members of the American Legion Post 253 in North Webster recently presented a donation in the amount of $809.25 to the Kosciusko County Community Foundation for the KC Riley Kids Fund. The donation was made in memory of past American Legion member, Mike Elwood, who passed away after battling cancer.
The donation was delivered by motorcycle riders from North Webster to the Community Foundation office, located in downtown Warsaw. The donation represented proceeds from the group’s 2016 annual motorcycle ride, which takes place on the last Saturday in August. This August will be the group’s 5th annual ride. Members of the public are invited to participate in the August 2017 ride. Call The American Legion Post 253 at (574) 834-4297 to sign up for the ride.
