Paczkowski Honored For Serving As Library Trustee

WARSAW — During the Warsaw Community Public Library Board of Trustees meeting held Monday, June 12, library trustee Rick Paczkowski was honored during his last meeting for serving on the board for eight years.
Paczkowski has decided not to pursue another term with the library board after his term ends this month. Library Board President Christopher Merrill presented Paczkowski with a brick that will be placed on the library sidewalk to Paczkowski’s time as a library trustee.
Paczkowski noted he was thankful for his time serving on the board, “I’ve enjoyed it, there are a lot of nice people here.”
Ben Rice was recently approved by the Kosciusko County Council to fill Paczkowski’s vacancy on the board. Rice will begin his four-year term at the next meeting in July.

- The board approved changes to the public comments policy and the library program policy.
- The library has begun utilizing a printing app that will allow patrons to print items at the library from their personal computer or phone.
- Library Director Ann Zydek informed the board the limited use limited application elevator broke down twice last month. Currently they are in the process of installing new doors in the LULA elevator.
