KOSCIUSKO COUNTY — Jasmine Morehead, a soon to be 2017 graduate of Wawasee High School, is the 2017 recipient of the Kosciusko County Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 149 scholarship. Morehead, who will graduate with honors, plans to attend Indiana Wesleyan University in the fall.

While at IWU, Morehead intends to major in criminal justice and journalism. She has the desire to travel the United States and cover major crimes through her passion in criminology journalism.

During the May FOP Lodge 149 meeting Morehead’s application was reviewed by the attending members. Upon completion of the review there was a unanimous decision to award her with a $500 scholarship for the fall.
