Baseball
The Triton baseball team won its eighth game in a row Tuesday evening, defeating Caston 11-4.
Dyland Hensley tried his best to channel Washington’s Anthony Rendon as he had a career day driving in six RBIs, not quite the 10 that Rendon had on Sunday, but still impressive in its own right. Hensley was 3-4 at the dish and scored a pair of runs as well. Nate Flenar crossed home four times on his own and recorded and RBI. Zac Pitney was the winning pitcher, going five and one-third innings, surrendering seven hits and four runs but striking out nine along the way.
Triton is now 10-2 overall and 8-1 in the HNAC. The Trojans host Winamac on Thursday.
