Warsaw Teen Killed In Sunday Morning Crash
WARSAW — A Warsaw teen was killed in an early Sunday morning crash at the intersection of US 30 and SR 5, Larwill.
Jack T. Burchett, 17, Warsaw, was fatally injured in the 1 a.m. crash.
Burchett was a passenger in Ford 2-door driven by Phillip D. Caudill, Jr., 16, Warsaw. Caudill sustained life threatening injuries, including a brain bleed, a collapsed lung and a fractured right tibia. Jacob T. Burchett, 18, Warsaw, was a passenger in the vehicle and sustained fractures in both legs.
Both Jacob and Caudill were transported to Parkview Regional.
Chase R. Belcher, 25, Warsaw, was westbound on US 30 and reportedly failed to stop at the red light, colliding with Caudill’s vehicle heading northbound on SR 5. Belcher suffered from scalp lacerations and was transported to Parkview Regional.
