Marna D. Clouser
Marna D. Clouser, 63, rural Claypool, (Beaver Dam Lake) passed Sunday, April 16, at her residence.
She was born on Jan. 27, 1954, in Elwood, to Daniel Franklin and Laveda (Collins) Longenecker. She married on Aug. 3, 1975, in Tipton County, to Michael K. Clouser, he survives.
She retired from Kosciusko Community Hospital where she had been a registered nurse from 1987 to 2009. At KCH she served as ICU Manager for several years.
She graduated from Wendell L. Wilkie High School, Elwood, in 1972. She studied nursing at Indiana University of Kokomo and then Indiana Wesleyan of Ft. Wayne. She always enjoyed nursing and helping people. She groomed and cared for their prized Havanese dogs. Marna and her son Damon traveled showing dogs in Michigan, Illinois, and Indiana. She also loved to spend time with her foster grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband: Michael Clouser, Beaver Dam Lake; a son: Damon Clouser, Beaver Dam Lake; brother: Anthony Haneline, Yellow Creek Lake; Dorrell Haneline, Fort McCoy, Fla.; a foster son: Joe Runyon, Beaver Dam Lake; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother: David Longenecker.
Services will be at 6 p.m., Thursday, April 20, at Hartzler Funeral Home, Akron, with the Bogard Brothers officiating. Burial will take place with her family at a later date. Visitation hours will take place from 4-6 p.m., Thursday, April 20, at Hartzler Funeral Home, Akron.
