Warsaw Golf: Tigers Gain Experience At HOF/Triton Invites
PERU – Warsaw got to see some of the top boys golf teams in the state by competing in the Hall of Fame Invite at Rock Hollow.
The Tigers shot a 346 as a team to finish 11th overall at the event. Tim Rata led the team with a round of 83.
Carmel won the prestigious event by shooting a sparkling 289 in the early-season meter.
The Warsaw JV took part in the Triton Invite this past weekend and landed second to Triton’s championship run. The Tigers shot a 355 to the Trojans’ 339.
Leading the way for Warsaw was Jacob LaLonde at 83 over 18 holes, which was second-best of the meet, and Tommy Meier was fifth overall at 84.
Warsaw is scheduled to golf again Tuesday at Elcona against Northridge and Mishawaka Marian.
