Reiff Named ICGSA All-State First Teamer
INDIANAPOLIS – The All-State girls basketball lists compiled by the Indiana Coaches of Girls Sports Association (ICGSA) were issued Thursday, and Whitko’s Aly Reiff was bestowed yet another honor as being chosen First Team All-State.
Reiff, who already has garnered numerous regional and state accolades from her outstanding senior season, was named one of 25 girls from around the state to the First Team, joined by area standouts Courtney Dunlap of Argos, Tori Styers of Culver Academy, and state champions Nicole Konieczny and Daly Sullivan of South Bend St. Joe and Karissa McLaughlin and Madison Parker of Homestead.
Reiff was named the Ink Free News Player of the Year in girls basketball as well as to the IBCA Supreme 15. Reiff, who helped Whitko to is first No. 1 ranking in program history, graduates as the school’s all-time performer in over a half dozen statistical categories including scoring and assists. Reiff will play at Xavier University next fall.
On the Second Team All-State list from the area were Alexander Bope of Oregon-Davis, Leigha Brown of DeKalb, Sydney Freeman of Central Noble, Kyannah Stull of John Glenn and Brooke McKinley of Northridge.
On the Third Team All-State list from the area were Lenna Tetzloff of Oregon-Davis, Ally Andrews of Plymouth, Trinitee Harris of Elkhart Central, Lindsay Kline of Penn and Jaycee Parrett of Wabash.
