Bethel Basketball: Bley Honored As All-American
MISHAWAKA – Former NorthWood High School basketball standout Savannah Bley has been honored as an All-American by the NCCAA following her senior season at Bethel College.
Bley averaged 14.9 points and 9.7 rebounds per game for the Pilots to earn second-team All-American honors. She led Bethel in points, rebounds, field goal percentage and steals.
Bley, a 6-1 forward, was the NCCAA North Central Regional Player of the Year. She averaged 16 points and shot 66 percent from the field in Crossroads League play. Bley led the league with 16 double-doubles during the 2016-17 season.
Bethel finished its season 10-21 overall and 7-11 in Crossroads League play.
