Triton Quartet Named To All-HNAC
BOURBON – Triton’s championship run in the Hoosier North Athletic Conference landed the Trojans four members to the All-Conference boys basketball list issued Monday.
The Trojans, which went 8-0 to win its first HNAC title, had Grant Johnson and Zac Pitney named All-HNAC and Nathan Flenar and Beau Hepler named Honorable Mention All-HNAC.
Winamac was 7-1 and had Jack DeGroot, Caleb Smith and Calvin Larkin named All-HNAC.
LaVille and Pioneer both finished 5-3 in the round robin, the Lancers with Adam Steinke as All-HNAC and both Luke Beehler and Isaac Ross named Honorable Mention All-HNAC. The Panthers had Keith Nies and Trey Waddups named All-HNAC and Connor Kindley as Honorable Mention All-HNAC.
Culver and Knox were both 4-4, the Cavs with Cash Harris as All-HNAC and Nate Carnegie as Honorable Mention All-HNAC, the Redskins with Kooper Broeker named All-HNAC and Cade Krueger as Honorable Mention All-HNAC. Broeker was bestowed the honor of also being named the conference’s Most Valuable Player.
North Judson was 2-6 and had Trevor Johnson named All-HNAC and Caden Benson as Honorable Mention All-HNAC. West Central was 1-7 with Matt Poortenga as All-HNAC and Caston was winless but had Brandon Kinser named Honorable Mention All-HNAC.
