DENVER – North Miami hosted Tippecanoe Valley in seventh and eighth grade girls basketball Thursday and the two schools came up with a split.

The North Miami eighth grade beat Valley 31-27. Sidney Wagner led the Vikes with 11 points and Hayley Backus added seven points.

The Valley seventh grade came through with a win against the hosts, 33-26. Brayden Baney paced the Vikes with 15 points and Brianna Sheetz chipped in 11 points.
